Colorado River to Arizona above Davis Dam to Lake Mohave with a stop for
relaxation, potty, and an incredible vista, snacks at a new Lake Mohave picnic
area. Then return to the Pioneer for refreshments, bench racing, etc. Dinner on your own.
April 9, 2010 - 10:00 AM a 95
mile ride from Nevada over Union Pass through Golden Valley, Arizona over to
Old Rte 66 to the "ghost town" of Oatman
for lunch, then back to the Pioneer via mountainous Route 66, past the Avi Casino. Plenty of gas and potty
stops. Then refreshments, bench racing, etc. Lunch, dinner on your own.
April 10, 2010 - 10:00 AM a
95 mile ride from Nevada to Old Rte 66 through Needles, California, then into
Arizona to Golden Shores adjacent to the Topoc Marsh
and on to the head of Topoc Gorge, then on to the
southern twisty end of Old 66 by Topoc Marsh and the
back way to Oatman for lunch. Return by River Rd. to
Nevada to the Pioneer. Plenty of gas and potty stops. Then refreshments, Bench racing, etc. Lunch,
dinner on your own.
