Santa Monica Mountains Run

Once again Craig Dillman hosted a scenic run through the Malibu Highlands, with only six of us in attendance! Despite our small group, we had an enjoyable ride through scenic Malibu Canyon and up the coast highway, stopping for lunch at a small restaurant near Zuma Beach. We then proceeded northward to Neptune’s, heading inland to Agoura Hills for our traditional stop at the Rock Store. From there we returned along Mulholland Highway to Woodland Hills, then back to Chatsworth. The total ride encompassed more than 70 miles of scenic byways, capping off a most enjoyable Sunday ride.

We are assuming that the light turnout may have been due to the fact that the Death Valley Run began a day or so later, and many folks may have been resting up for that. Nonetheless, thanks again Craig for hosting a most enjoyable ride!
