Interested in Old
Motorcycles?
The Antique
Motorcycle Club of America is the premiere Club of its kind in the world.
We could give you
the facts and figures, age of the club, membership size, etc., but it boils
down to this....having fun with old motorcycles.
Networking in this club means rubbing elbows and turning wrenches with fellow
club members who share your passion for old bikes.
Enjoyment of this
hobby can take many forms depending on your level of interest. If detailed
restoration is your main concern, you will find club members with similar
interests eager to lend a hand. Assistance could be supplying the elusive part
you've been searching for or answering a technical question you might have.
The Club sponsors
nine national meets spread throughout the country. Each one offers a host of
activities. Here's your opportunity to peruse the swap area, have some fun
participation in the field games, or enter your bike for concourse judging.
Perhaps feeling the
wind in your hair is your idea of a perfect way to spend a lazy summer
afternoon. Both local and national road rides offer the chance to meet fellow
club members with wind blown hair and the occasional
oil stain on their boots. Have we sparked your interest?
The AMCA is open to
anyone with an interest in antique motorcycles. Ownership is not required,
although for judging and some events, a motorcycle must be 35 years old.
Worldwide membership is over 8,000. The yearly membership fee includes the club
publication, The Antique Motorcycle. An 80
page quarterly magazine, it contains restoration articles, technical tips, and
a free classified ad section open to all members.
